SensaSummer 2013 is coming this June! 

SensaSummer is a six-week summer program developed to improve reading, written expression and self-confidence.  Our program is for any student who is smart, but struggles with reading, writing and/or spelling. SensaSummer will make a difference in your child's education.  

SensaSummer will be held at our Heber City and Park City campuses this year.  Dates are as follows:

SensaSummer Dates

 Park City - Time will be 1-3 pm on the following dates:

• June 17-20
• June 24-27
• July 8-11
• July 15-18
• July 22-25 (no school on Wednesday, July 24th)
• July 29-August 1

Heber City - Time will be 9-11 am on the following dates:

• June 3-7
• June 10-13
• June 17-20
• June 24-27
• July 15-18
• July 22-25 (no school on Wednesday, July 24th)

Trained tutors and teachers will provide comprehensive instruction driven by student strengths and needs. SensaSummer Youth Programs are truly Sensational! 

For Students – Small Group Tutoring of six or fewer students allows for explicit and intensive instruction and creates an environment for social interaction as students learn, teach, and reach collaboratively.

• Multisensory Learning – most proven and effective method to effectively increase reading/writing/spelling skills
• WhyTry – course used in 10,000 schools across nation that addresses how to overcome challenges, boost self-esteem, set goals and handle peer pressure
• Hands-on Instruction – games, activities and effective use of technology (in a friendly environment)

 

For Parents – Periodic Support Meetings (60 minutes)

• Roundtable discussions and skills workshops for dyslexia and other learning disabilities
• Understand how your child thinks and learns
• Learn your parental rights and options
• Become empowered to know how to help and support your child!

Who is eligible for SensaSummer Youth Programs?  Students who have attended grades Kindergarten through 12 are invited to register.

A Program Placement Assessment must be completed prior to participation in the program. This allows instructors to appropriately group students by need.
